Inspired by the Amerindian Cultures of Latin America, the textiles of Claudia Almansa are a visual and symbolic universe in themselves. Claudia Almansa is a Canadian weaver born in Colombia. She began her career in Bogota. In search of improvement, she attended The Montreal Center for Contemporary Textiles and obtained her diploma in 2002. She has been living and working in Laval since 1996.
